PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying liquefied petroleum gas fuel to an automobile that can supply liquefied petroleum gas as automobile fuel to an on-vehicle tank mounted on an automobile while detecting the supply flow rate accurately with a flowmeter. SOLUTION: The method for supplying liquefied petroleum gas fuel to an automobile transfers automobile-fuel liquefied petroleum gas to an on-vehicle tank mounted on an automobile. A selected one of a plurality of juxtaposed automobile-fuel liquefied petroleum gas storage tanks is supplied with pressure gas from a pressure gas storage tank 3 to supply the liquefied petroleum gas to the on-vehicle tank 14. For a change of the liquefied petroleum gas storage tanks, the pressure gas supply is stopped from the pressure gas storage tank 3, and also the vapor phase parts of the standby liquefied petroleum gas storage tank 2 to be used next and the operating liquefied petroleum gas storage tank 1 are interconnected to equalize the internal pressures of both liquefied petroleum gas storage tanks 1 and 2. The standby liquefied petroleum gas storage tank 2 is thereafter supplied with the pressure gas to supply the fuel to the on-vehicle tank 14 mounted on the automobile.
