PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device and a control method therefor capable of immediately correcting disturbance even when a display picture is disturbed due to mixing of noise therein. SOLUTION: The information processing device having a liquid crystal display module 105 provided with a driver with built-in memory for displaying comprises an AND circuit 106 and a flip-flop circuit 107 which are a noise detection means for detecting mixing of noise into a timing signal line to be inputted to the liquid crystal display module 105, and a display control part 102 provided with a transmission means for transmitting display data to the liquid crystal display module 105 according to the detection result by the noise detection means.
