PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method capable of ensuring an electrophotographic photoreceptor having low residual potential and excellent in stability and durability without varying the combination of the materials of a conventional electrophotographic photoreceptor and to provide a method for relieving fatigue. SOLUTION: During or after the production of an electrophotographic photoreceptor and during or after the use of the photoreceptor, the photoreceptor is heat-treated under electrification by corona discharge in a dark place and then it is further heat-treated.
