PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the loss of energy increased due to the extension of the travel distance of an electron beam in the air caused by the great distance between an irradiation window and a trough by shortening the travel distance of the electron beam in the air though it is necessary to widen the distance between the trough and the irradiation window in a section where the electron beam is generated in anticipation of the irregularly high amplitude of a vibration trough during a stopping or actuating action in an electron beam irradiator where a vibrating conveyer is used for a conveying means. SOLUTION: The height of the trough of the vibrating conveyer can be adjusted by setting up an elevation retainer on the vibrating conveyer.
