MEASURING METHOD FOR RESIDUAL, CHARGE OF CV CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual-charge measuring method in which a required power-supply capacity can be suppressed and whose measurement precision can be enhanced when a residual charge is measured in the diagnosis of the insulation degradation of a CV cable. SOLUTION: In the method, a DC voltage is applied to a cable insulator to which the diagnosis of the insulation degradation of the CV cable is executed, the cable insulator is grounded, and an AC voltage is applied so as to measure the residual charge. The AC voltage which is applied is an AC voltage whose frequency is at a commercial frequency or less.
