PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an operator to actually feel whether or not inputted informa tion is surely inputted, if an inputting operation of information for specifying an article is facilitated by using a voice input. SOLUTION: An electronic balance is provided with a metering part for outputting metered value data, by metering the weight of an article. When an article specifying data for specifying the article are inputted in voice, a display unit 4 displays and outputs article information for recognizing the article as the specified article, and calculates the amount data based on the unit price of the article specified by the article-specifying data and the metered value data outputted from the metering part. Thus, the inputting operation of the information for specifying the article by a method for voice inputting is facilitated. In this case, it enables an operator to actually feel whether the input information has been input surely.
