PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method enabling tight pick as a critical defect to be diminished even if the rate of loom operation is raised. SOLUTION: This method for weaving a filament woven fabric with both the warps and wefts made up of filament yarns comprises using a water jet loom, wherein a weft insertion is made by setting the distance (a) between the jet port 1a of a picking nozzle 1 and a weave selvedge 5 at <=40 mm.
