PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for managing the purchase of a merchandise sample put at auction, a computer readable medium, and a signal embedded in a carrier. SOLUTION: A display showing that a sample of a merchandise put at auction can be obtained is provided for the electronic auction once the merchandise is secured at one place. A message is sent to the entity managing the merchandise at the place to notify that shipping processing for shipping the merchandise from the place to a bidder expected to buy the merchandise is completed and the merchandise is shipped to the purchase expected person of the auction when the purchase expected person completes the procedure for the payment.
