TELEPHONE SET AND ITS FUNCTION SETTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set with an electronic mail function that can easily set each function such as function setting, operation setting, incoming tone setting and incoming tone melody setting without the need for depressing many keys on each occasion. SOLUTION: The mobile phone is provided with an electronic mail transmitter-receiver 18 that sends/receives an electronic mail 20 via a phone communication network 19 and a storage device 14 that stores function setting and operation setting information included in the electronic mail received by an electronic mail transmitter-receiver and a controller 15 that sets functions and operations of the telephone set body 11. The controller sets functions and operations to the telephone set body by using the function setting and operation setting information received by the electronic mail sand stored in the storage device.
