COMBINATION VALVE OF FOUR-WAY SELECTOR VALVE AND MOTORIZED EXPANSION VALVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a motor in the case of selecting a four-way selector valve in a combination valve in which a four-way valve and an expansion valve are integrally built. SOLUTION: A valve seat of a valve element for an expansion valve is faced to a bottom face 26c. A groove 34 functions as an expansion valve in cooperation with a pair of ports A and B communicating respectively with an indoor heat-exchanger and an outdoor heat-exchanger. A groove 35 for full opening is provided in continuation with the groove 34 to communicate with the ports A and B during the selection operation of the four-way selector valve. The grooves 34 and 35 are provided to the bottom face 26c to reduce the load of the motor by reducing a pressure difference in the system during a selection rotation of the four-way valve.
