PIEZOELECTRIC VIBRATOR AND PIEZOELECTRIC OSCILLATOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the jump phenomenon of a frequency even in the case of a piezoelectric oscillator constituted by packaging a piezoelectric vibrator on a printed circuit board of wiring for attaining miniaturization. SOLUTION: Concerning the piezoelectric vibrator constituted by housing a piezoelectric vibrating element in a ceramic package composed of a multi- layer ceramic plate and a ceramic side wall part formed around the outer peripheral edge of this ceramic plate, the ceramic plate is raised from the bottom of the side wall part and a recessed part is formed on the outside bottom of the package.
