PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device where the load for a pair of rolls when a recording medium that is remaining in the fixing device by being jammed in the pair of rolls of a carrying means, can be decreased and the recording medium can be removed without breaking it and an image forming device provided with the fixing device. SOLUTION: The device is constituted so that rotating drive force from a driving means to a pressure roll 11 and the carrying means 19 is cut off by separating a fixing film unit 12 and the pressure roll 11 or releasing the press contact of them by moving the pressure roll 11 that is energized by a spring 15 in the direction where the pressurized contact is released against the energizing force by rotating a lever 16.
