PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic transfer paper which does not stick to a toner image fixing roll or does not cause reversal transfer of a toner image. SOLUTION: The paper has a toner accepting layer having releasing property and formed on at least one surface of a paper base and has >=12 cm Clark stiffness (TAPPI-T451) in the lateral direction. The accepting layer having releasing property contains silicon compounds, fluorine compounds, wax, higher fatty acids, their metal salts, esters, amides or higher fatty acid alcohols, reaction product of two or more kinds of compounds including reactive silicone compounds and polyisocyanate, or one or more kinds of silane compounds containing reactive groups and silicone oil compounds.
