PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor having high sensitivity to near-infrared light of a semiconductor laser, excellent in electrical characteristics, nearly free of decrease of its sensitivity even with repeated use, having stable potential by electrification and also excellent wear resistance. SOLUTION: The photoreceptor uses crystalline oxo-titanyl phthalocyanine having a specified X-ray diffraction spectrum as an electric charge generating material and a benzofuran-hydrazone compound as an electric charge carrying material.
