PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative member capable of being firmly fixed to a substrate material while facilitating an installation operation and a decorative member installation structure. SOLUTION: A floor material 3 (decorative member is installed through a mortar slab 4 (substrate material). The floor material 3 comprises a plate part 30. The plate part 30 is formed by mixing cellulose fine powder with resin and melting and extrudedly forming the mixed material. An extension part 32 is provided on the plate part 30 so as to be extended from the rear side thereof. The extended part 32 is fixedly buried in the mortar slab 4.
