PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a trouble which can hinder the operation of a mixing means, by removing a metallic foreign matter before it is involved in the mixing means. SOLUTION: An endless belt 73 of a magnetic separator 70 is arranged between an end of a mixed material conveyor 10 and an introducing port 41 of a mixing container 40 at a location where the belt faces the mixed material which contains soil and a soil improving agent and falls from the mixed material conveyor 10 due to its self weight. When the mixed material falls from an edge of the mixed material conveyor 10 toward the introducing port 41 of the mixing container 40, if a metallic member containing a metallic foreign material is mixed in the soil of the mixed material, a magnetic absorbing force generated by magnets 73 arranged at locations opposed to the endless belt 73 is selectively exerted on the metallic foreign matter, etc., to force the foreign matter, etc., to be attached to the endless belt 73 Then, the foreign matter, etc., are collected to a collecting box 74 or the like arranged at a lower portion in the vicinity of a wind-in portion to a driven roller 72.
