PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the waterproof function for a centrifugal air blower for forming an opening part in a boss part for transmitting driving froce to a blade from a rotary shaft of a driving motor. SOLUTION: A through hole 26b is formed in the boss part 26 for reducing a transmission rate of vibration transmitted to the blade 28 from the rotary shaft 24. A waterproof cap 60 for covering this through hole 26b is installed in the boss part 26. Thus, since the through hole 26b is covered with the waterproof cap 60, even when the boss part 26 is covered with water from the opposite side of the driving motor 12, infiltration of the water into the driving motor 12 from the through hole 26b can be prevented.
