PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an advertising system and method for allowing an advertisement client to easily display advertisement information on a message board, and capable of reducing the load of the advertisement client and an advertisement managing company on an advertisement request. SOLUTION: This system is provided with an advertisement receiving system 120 for displaying advertisement information from a client terminal 100 obtained through a telephone line network 110 on a message board 130 under automatic control. The advertisement receiving system 120 is installed in an advertisement managing company Also, the advertisement receiving system 120 is provided with a server 121 for transferring information with the client terminal 100 and a board managing device 122 for performing display control on the message board 130 according to the instruction of the server 121.
