PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive choke coil which has a small size and can easily obtain a prescribed inductance. SOLUTION: This choke coil 1 is constituted of a ferrite core 2 forming a closed magnetic path and windings L1 and L2 wound around the core 2. Hereupon, the windings L1 and L2 are connected to the closed magnetic path so that the magnetic fluxesΦ1 andΦ2 of the windings L1 and L2 may be in the same direction and, at the same time, a coupling adjusting section 3 (the gap 3 of a core joint surface) for the windings L1 and L2 is provided for performing inductance djustment. In this constitution, various inductances can be obtained by using the common core 2. Since the number of design steps can be reduced and, in addition, common parts can be used, the cost of this choke coil 1 can be reduced. In addition, since the current of this choke coil 1 can be sbunted to the windings L1 and L2, the diameters of the windings L1 and L2 can be reduced and, accordingly, the size of the coil 1 can be reduced.
