<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon-based ceramic resistor which has a low specific resistivity and a superior breakdown voltage characteristic and causes an extremely small resistance change when the resistor is used under a high voltage. SOLUTION: The specific resistivity of a carbon-based ceramic resistor containing carbon black as a conductive material is adjusted to 0.1-10.0Ωcm by further adding 1-10% baked and carbonized cellulose-based binder as another conductive material. The resistor is manufactured in such a way that the carbon black and cellulose-based binder are added to a ceramic material as conductive materials by adjusting the amount of the binder to 0.1-10% of the whole material, and the materials are mixed and kneaded together. Then, after the kneaded material is molded, the cellulose-based binder is carbonized by baking the molded body in an inert atmosphere.</p> |
