PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery that can improve battery capacity. SOLUTION: A wound electrode body 20, in which a belt-like positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 are wound through a separator 23, is arranged inside a battery can 11. The total thickness of a positive electrode laminated layer constituting the positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode laminated layer constituting the negative electrode 22 are 400 μm or more. Since the proportion of the positive electrode laminated layer and the negative electrode laminated layer in the battery can be increased, volume of lithium as a battery-reaction seed filled within the battery-system can be enlarged, and the battery capacity can be enlarged without increasing the size of the battery. |
