PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a trouble that a laser scan unit(LSU) is deformed by the influence of heat from a fixing means in an image forming device where the LSU and the heat fixing device are located close to each other. SOLUTION: In the device, the heat from the fixing means is hardly transmitted to the LSU by laying out the LSU at a place upstream of the flow of air created within a printer by a fan for cooling the interior of a machine and the fixing device at a place downstream of it.
