PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid absorbing member having elasticity, capable of simply adjusting particle diameters of pores and porosity and readily producing a minute formed material such as a spherical material, etc., having uniform and fine pores and to obtain a liquid absorbing member having elasticity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the liquid absorbing member is characterized in that the liquid absorbing member having elasticity is produced by kneading a composition for forming a liquid absorbing member with sugar alcohol powder, molding the mixture and dissolving and removing the sugar alcohol powder with a liquid consisting essentially of water. |
