PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connection device which enables to do an engaging action of both constituent elements 2, 3 and a pushing-in action of a hook-latch element 5 for releasing a short circuit element 4 in a constituent 2 of one side by a series of actions, and which is compactly designed as a whole. SOLUTION: This is provided with the first constituent 2 to support the first electric connector element 13. The second constituent element 3 is engaged in the first constituent element 2. The second constituent element 2 supports the second electric connector element of a female type engaged with the first electric connector element 13 of a male type. The short circuit element 4 which makes the first connector element 13 of the male type short-circuit has been mounted beforehand on the first constituent element 2. The hook-latch element 5 has been latched beforehand to the second constituent element 3 at the first hook-circuit position. By pushing the hook-latch element 5, the second constituent element 3 is engaged with the first constituent element 2, and at the same time the first hook-latch element 5 position is released, and the hook- latch element 5 is further pushed into the second hook-latch position. At the second hook-latch position, the hook-latch element 5 releases the short-circuit of the short circuit element 4.
