PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging unit having a function of cyclic noise reduction processing capable of reproducing a suitable color even when performing the magnification processing of an image by electronic processing. SOLUTION: The imaging unit has an imaging means having the filter arrangement of the same color for each prescribed horizontal line period, a noise reduction processing means to perform the noise reduction processing based on a signal for one frame read from the imaging means and of a signal for one frame delayed by a memory for a prescribed time, an image magnification processing means to magnify an image electronically by controlling the position of the horizontal line of the signal read from the imaging means, and a control means to control the position of the line of the signal read from the memory in correspondence with the position of the horizontal line of the signal read from the imaging means when the magnification of the image is being performed by the image magnification means.
