PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is impossible to process any required program stored in a program memory bank which is not selected during the processing of the other program stored in a program memory bank selected by switching plural program memory banks as necessary. SOLUTION: This arithmetic unit is provided with plural program memory banks having a calling control part constituted of the same contents in the same logical address and a means for switching the plural program memory banks as necessary through the calling control part, and for processing a required program stored in the program memory bank which is not selected during the processing of the other program stored in the selected program memory bank. |
