PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative alternate combustion device provided with a heat reservoir changing mechanism allowing a heat reservoir to be changed automatically and safely in a short time. SOLUTION: In the regenerative alternate combustion device A comprising at least a pair of regenerative burners 1 comprising a burner part 2 provided with a fuel nozzle 4 and a thermal storage chamber 5 storing a heat reservoir S to allow a pair of the regenerative burners to perform combustion and exhaust alternately, the thermal storage chamber is formed in a roughly L shape, and the tip of the thermal storage chamber 5 is connected with the rear end 3 of the combustion chamber of the burner part through a perforated plate 6. A heat reservoir discharge pipe P1 provided with an on-off valve for discharging the heat reservoir V1 is provided at the bottom part of the thermal storage chamber 5. Moreover, the thermal storage type alternate combustion device is provided with a heat reservoir changing mechanism in which the upper part of the thermal storage chamber is connected with a heat reservoir storage tank 10 by a distributor 13 and a heat reservoir supply pipe P2 provided with an on-off valve for supplying the heat reservoir V2 located downstream of the distributor. |
