PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a cartridge freely attached to/detached from an image forming device main body capable of facilitating wiring and making the degree of freedom in the wiring higher in the case of transferring the data between a storage medium attached to the cartridge and the image forming device main body. SOLUTION: The engine controller 12 of the device main body 1 and electronic modules 5 attached to the respective cartridge 2, 3Y, 3M, 3C, 3K and 4 are electrically connected through two signal lines 81 and 82. Only the signal line 81 out of the signal lines 81 and 82 functions as a data transferring signal line between the module 5 and the main body 1, and the data are transferred between the module 5 and the main body 1 through the signal line 81. |
