PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CATV system that inhibits browsing of home pages(HPs) harmful to minors or the like without the need for integrating a function of inhibiting the browsing of the harmful home pages(HPs) or the like to a personal computer of each subscriber. SOLUTION: The CATV system is a system where a CATV device making CATV broadcast and subscriber devices receiving the broadcast mutually transmit/receive data via a CATV network, each subscriber device has a uniquely set modem serial number and the CATV device is provided with a station server that outputs HP data received via the Internet to the subscriber devices via the CATV network, an HP browsing filter that transfers the HP data outputted to the subscriber devices via the CATV network on the basis of a prescribed criterion and a changeover means that selects whether the HP data received by the station server are transferred via the HP browsing filter or directly outputted from the station server on the basis of the modem serial number.
