PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric barrier discharge lamp device, allowing a ultraviolet ray to be emitted from all of the side and end faces of a dielectric barrier discharge lamp, highly efficiently trapped by a reflecting mirror and focused on a treated material. SOLUTION: The dielectric barrier discharge lamp device comprises a dielectric barrier discharge lamp C and a reflecting mirror D. The dielectric barrier discharge lamp C has a discharge container 1 with a side face 3a and an end face 3b formed as light takeoff portions and a feeding member 8 arranged at one end. One end of the dielectric barrier discharge lamp, where the feeding member 8 is provided, is inserted into a top opening D1 of the reflecting mirror D and the other end is directed to a front opening 2 of the reflecting mirror D. The discharge container 1 is arranged along an optical axis of the reflecting mirror D and the reflecting mirror D has a plurality of reflecting surfaces (d1, d2) continuously provided in the direction of the extension of the optical axis of the reflecting mirror D. |
