LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which can have its seal part and a dummy electrode, provided at an injection opening, manufactured with efficiency. SOLUTION: A couple of substrates 1 and 5 are fixed at a specific interval by the seal part 7 provided surrounding a display part 2 and liquid crystal is charged between both the substrates 1 and 5 to constitute the liquid crystal display device. A common electrode 6 of the substrate 5 and an electrode of the other substrate 1 are electrically connected by a contact electrode 9. Then the injection port 8 is formed without providing the seal part 7 at part of the periphery of the display part 2 and the dummy electrode 11 made of the same material with the contact electrode 9 is provided in the injection port 8.
