PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated cable, which has excellent insulating perfor mance and machining resistance, and especially even with a thin insulated film, has excellent insulating performance equivalent to that of the conventional thick insulated film or higher, and to provide an insulated cable suitable for coils for motor, transformer and the like. SOLUTION: The insulated cable comprises a silane reformed polyamide imide resin formed by the reaction of a polyamide imide resin having carboxyl groups and/or acid anhydride groups at the ends with a glycigileter group contained alkoxy or aryloxysilane part condensate and applied and baked directly to a conductor or via another insulating layer.
