PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure even a card of a multi-layer configuration having a layer for absorbing/transmitting sensor light without error. SOLUTION: A light receiving sensor 51b for irradiating a card with light and changing the strength of the reflected light to an electric signal and a blowing-off port 52 for blowing air onto the card are integrally built in a measuring sensor 50 and the blowing-off port 52 is located in front of the light receiving sensor 51b in the advancing direction of incoming movement on a measuring sensor scanning path 12. While the measuring sensor moves, air is blown out of the blowing-off port 52 at all the time, the sensor reciprocates in a laminating direction while expanding the intervals of plural adjacent half fixed cards and measurement is performed during the incoming movement.
