PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card settlement system where the credit decision work of a settling financial institution are abolished, a person having cash can establish a credit account, a person who cannot possess a credit card in a former case can use the credit card by previously depositing a deposit money within the credit limit in the deposit managing account of a credit card issuing company and the use range of the credit card can remarkably be enlarged. SOLUTION: In the card settlement system, an arbitrary credit amount is transferred from the individual deposit account of the settling financial institution to the deposit managing account of the credit card issuing company. A credit limit card is purchased from an ATM terminal by a bankbook or a cash card.
