PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform correction of a finally scanned image and to avoid deterioration of the scanned image due to correction processing. SOLUTION: A PJP image producing part 12 for producing a PJP image for correcting the scanned image, for instance, on the basis of the scanned image obtained by reading a negative film is provided. The part 12 consists of a column direction arithmetic mean operating part 16 and a row direction arithmetic mean operating part 17. The part 16 calculates the arithmetic mean of image data, e.g. every four pixels in the column direction of the real scan image. Meanwhile, the part 17 further calculates the arithmetic mean of, e.g. every four pixels of the arithmetic mean in the row direction of the scanned image. Thus, the PJP image reflecting the information of the whole pixels can be obtained by performing final scanning one time without discarding necessary information in the scanned image. |
