PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate special operation for transmission/reception at the time of data transmission/reception and to prevent traffic concentration to a server. SOLUTION: A data transmission system is provided with the server and a terminal adapter which can transmit data to each other, and the server accesses the terminal adapter at a preliminarily set transmission time and confirms the indication of transmission of a first data to the terminal adapter and the indication of reception of second data from the terminal adapter and performs transmission of the first data to the terminal adapter and reception of the second data from the terminal adapter.
