PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide various methods for distributing position data easily and using them, while providing persons concerned with certain constant assurance. SOLUTION: In one embodiment of the invention, a mobile terminal provides accuracy limit data indicating the limit of desired accuracy relating to the position data about the mobile terminal. This data is passed to a position processing system directly or indirectly from the mobile terminal, and the position processing system provides the position data about the corresponding mobile terminal limited to the desired accuracy. In one embodiment, the position processing system is a position server and the position processing system is a decryption means to decrypt encrypted position data.
