PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an account cancel processing method which enables an account to be canceled on-line so that an Internet-only bank can be actualized. SOLUTION: This method has account cancel reservation accepting stages (S1, S2) for accepting an account cancel reservation inputted on-line by a user through a terminal, an account cancel judging stage (S4) which judges whether or not the account can be canceled, a transaction stop processing stage (S5) which stops transactions using the account when the account can be canceled, an account cancel confirmation information presenting stage (S7) which generates account cancel confirmation information showing at least part of account cancel necessary information when the account can be canceled and presents the information to the user, and an account canceling stage (S9) which cancels the account of the user according to acknowledgement information that the user inputs in response to the account cancel confirmation information and the account cancel reservation. |
