<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot pedal device which is a foot pedal of a drum used when a player plays a percussion instrument, such as the drum, and enables the player to functionally and directly operate a beater and to play the drum. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a piece of strut 3 with a supporting arm fixed to a base plate 2 and a member which transmits the driving power of a pedal 20 to a pulley 9 turning combined with a shaft rod 6 fixed through the strut 3 and the supporting arm 4 is a member which is little in the factor for shaking and friction and is smooth. This member is connected by a belt piece 18 consisting of leather or a synthetic resin material. Further, a spring 17 for restoring the pulley 9 has a spring 17 directly between the supporting arm 4 fixed to the strut 3 and the pulley 9, by which the foot pedal device 1 capable of preventing the shaking and power loss by the decreased friction points and capable of making the reaction of the beater 13 speedy during playing and smoothly activating the beater is constituted.</p> |
