摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof in which a barrier rib with a uniform width of a bottom is uniformly formed throughout a face and enables high quality of display with low cost. SOLUTION: To eliminate an irregular width of a bottom portion of a barrier rib caused through an irregularity of a sand blast rate generated, especially in a process of sand blasting, a lower layer membrane of the barrier rib with a thickness of about 20μm or less and an upper layer membrane formed at a time to a required width or formed in plural times with a membrane thicker than the lower layer membrane are arranged to easily achieve a uniform barrier rib.
