SEALING STRUCTURE OF CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to seal effectively an insertion part of electric wire with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This is provided with a connector housing 3 retaining a terminal 2 fixed in a tip end part of an electric wire 1, and a sealing member 4 consisted of an elastic body mounted on the rear end part of connector housing 3. An insertion hole 10 to which the terminal 2 and the wire 1 are pressed and fitted is formed into a base part 9 of sealing member 4, and the condition of outer peripheral surface of sealing member 4 is also kept open so as to make the insertion hole 10 expand and deform easily at the time of press-fitting the terminal 2. A stationary portion 15 fixing the seal member 4 into the connector housing 3 in a part except the base end part 9 is installed.
