Device comprises a server (10) that manages a database (11) with a collection of tables each table representing information relating to one jukebox, e.g. its set-up, password, royalty payments, etc. The server can connect to each jukebox (100.1- 100.n) so that it can receive messages from them and is able to update the table relating to them in the database and can send data or programs to update them. An Independent claim is made for a jukebox management method in which a server connects to them for updating its data relating to them or for updating the jukeboxes with new data (songs) or programs.
