The heavenly body instrument has a tube (B) which can be reversed allowing viewing in the southern or northern hemisphere. A second tube (A) carries observation representations. There are graduated rings (C, D) providing time and date coordinates. The second graduated ring is reversible to cover the northern and southern hemisphere. Instrument also has lamp powered by battery.
