PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce failure in photographing caused by opening/closing a lens cover and also to excellently perform the reopening operation of the lens cover. SOLUTION: Whether or not the lens cover exists at an opening position is detected by a cover switch. By performing the pressing operation of a release button when the lens cover is not normally opened in a state where a power source has already turned on, the reopening operation for moving the lens cover to the opening position is performed without restarting the system of a digital still camera. |
