PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-sensitive composition for a color liquid crystal display device to be used to form a color layer on a driving substrate of a thin-film transistor(TFT) color liquid crystal display device, the composition especially having characteristics that hardly swells with the release liquid of a positive resist used to form electrodes on the surface of the color layer. SOLUTION: The radiation sensitive composition for color liquid crystal display device is used to form a color layer on a driving substrate of a thin-film transistor(TFT) color liquid crystal display device, and it comprises a radiation- sensitive composition containing (A) a coloring agent, (B) an alkali-soluble resin, (C) polyfunctional monomers and (D) a photopolymerization initiator. A hardened film formed from the radiation sensitive composition shows <=5% swelling rate with the release liquid of a positive resist to be used to form electrodes on the surface of the color layer.
