PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic spring clutch provided with a coil spring having corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic spring clutch used for a water pump heater as an automotive auxiliary machine, coil spring 4 is disposed on a winding surface of an input pulley 1 and an output hub 7. The coil spring 4 is made by plating a surface of machined spring steel with an yellow chromate (rust preventive processing), and has corrosion resistance.
