PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer server, capable of controlling the transfer of a mail from any mail server to a portable telephone set by providing a service control part for receiving an instruction from the portable telephone set and controlling a mail acquisition control part and a mail reception control part and to provide a recording medium. SOLUTION: The transferring server 1 provided with the mail acquisition control part 11 for controlling the acquisition of a mail from the mail server 2 and the mail reception control part 12 for controlling the transfer of the mail received from the server 2 to the portable telephone set 3 is provided with the service control part 13 for receiving the instruction from the set 3 and controlling the part 11 and the part 13. The part 13 performs setting of mail transfer, its release, the restriction of the length of the mail to be transferred, filtering by mail address identification or setting of a mail confirmation interval.
