SOLUTION: When a recording section protection switch 13 is set to a recording section protection mode that brings a recorded part of a recording medium 8 into a re-recording disable state, a system controller 14 controls a recorder section so as to await a recording instruction by a recording switch 12 after the end (final) of the recorded part is searched if a recording point is not at the end of the recorded part.
