SOLUTION: In the caulking gun, which has a main body 12, which is filled with a caulking agent or the like and to which a cartridge 11 with a piston body 13 arranged on a bottom is installed detachably, and a trigger 19 mounted on the main body 12, and from which the caulking agent or the like is discharged from a nozzle 14 for the cartridge 11 by forwards pushing the piston body 13 gradually by pulling the trigger 19, a rod 20 composed of a steel plate, in which a cross sectional shape is formed in a curved shape, a forwarding mechanism 30 backwards forwarding the rod 20 gradually by pulling the trigger 19 and a folding-back means 70 folding back the backwards forwarded rod 20 towards a front are secured, and the piston body 13 is forwards pushed gradually by the front end section 22A of a folding-back section 22 folded back by the folding-back means 70.
