PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing painting method which eliminates personal errors in repairing painting of a paint film having a brightness feeling, preventing a toning person who is less experienced in toning, from hesitating in judging the toning end point. SOLUTION: The toning end point judging method comprises presetting the toning end point allowable range in each angle condition from angle reference color values, obtained by measuring a reference color having a bright feeling for adjusting paint colors in two or more angle conditions, using a multi-angle color meter, judging whether each color measured value of a toning passed paint board is within the color end point allowable range, using a computer, presetting the brightness feeling end point allowable range from micro brightness feeling reference values obtained by measuring the reference color, using a micro brightness feeling meter, judging whether the micro brightness feeling reference measured values of the toning passed paint board are within the brightness feeling end point allowable range, using the computer, and determining that the toning end point is reached, if it is judged that each color measured value and the micro brightness feeling measured values of the toning passed paint board are within the end point allowable ranges.
